Originally built in 1920, this Lake Sunapee guest house was ready to celebrate its centennial year with a fresh aesthetic. With the charm one would expect from a home of this vintage, the design intent was to revive what attracted our clients to purchase this home and enhance the space with the comforts their guests would come to enjoy while discovering the lake.

In a nod to the important history of Lake Sunapee, each bedroom was carefully curated with inspiration and elements from meaningful neighborhood landmarks.

A recently purchased property and 12 weeks to the July fourth deadline made for unique challenges that resulted in innovative solutions. The collective goal to enhance the Cove House’s good bones with modern day amenities yielded a final product that will keep guests coming back for more.
