Echo Cove

Newbury, New Hampshire

From tile and trim work to fixtures and furnishings, my intent was to design this grand New Hampshire Camp as though it was as wonderfully timeworn as the cove it sat on. In short, a new construction that looks anything but “new”.

With its wide oak floors, wrought iron balustrades and impressive stone fireplaces, everything about the materials in this home feels as impressive as it does organic to its environment. The clients and I sought to create a home that says so much while deviating so little from the natural landscape.

The creative use of live edge wood materials was used throughout the interior. A dramatic run of walnut countertop serves as the perfect bar surface for gathering in the kitchen, nested at the heart of this home.
